Millennia Furnishes SACMI’s Lagos Office with Modular, Executive Design

Project Overview

SACMI, a global leader in packaging machinery, closures, and ceramics, partnered with Millennia to furnish its 214 sqm office in Lagos. The project spanned two floors and required a combination of executive, collaborative, and lounge areas.
We not only executed the furniture fit-out but also handled the full design, which was complex because the space was a two-story duplex residential apartment repurposed as an office. Structural work was not possible, so Millennia invested significant effort in design and layout planning to accommodate teams while creating a vibrant and collaborative workspace.

The Brief

SACMI needed a comprehensive furniture solution that combined executive desks, lounge furniture, soft seating, storage, and workstations. The goal was to create a workspace that reflected their global reputation while providing comfort and functionality for daily operations.
While it is a duplex residential apartment, we’ve developed a comprehensive design to transform it into a modern office environment, with all design elements meticulously planned to achieve this conversion.

Our Approach

Millennia designed a solution that integrated modular systems across both floors, balancing executive requirements with collaborative spaces. The executive desks were tailored to reflect SACMI’s stature, while lounge and soft seating areas provided comfort and flexibility for both employees and visitors. Storage and workstation solutions were included to ensure efficiency and organisation throughout the space.

Outcome

SACMI’s Lagos offices now feature modular executive desks, soft seating, lounge furniture, storage solutions, and workstations that create a well-rounded, functional environment. The design enhances both the professional image of the office and the day-to-day experience of staff, ensuring durability and adaptability as the business grows.
