The project spanned two floors and required a combination of executive, collaborative, and lounge areas. We not only executed the furniture fit-out but also handled the full design, which was complex because the space was a two-story duplex residential apartment repurposed as an office. Millennia Delivers a Scalable Workspace for FCMB in Lagos

Project Overview First City Monument Bank (FCMB), one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, partnered with Millennia to reimagine their Lagos office. The project required a large-scale fit-out that could accommodate multiple teams while reflecting the bank’s professional identity and growth trajectory. The Brief FCMB needed a workspace that balanced functionality, collaboration, and executive comfort. A key consideration was designing for large teams while also providing dedicated executive and meeting spaces. Their initial proposal included a single oversized table for group use, which required rethinking for better ergonomics and efficiency. Our Approach Millennia worked closely with the bank’s project team to design a layout that combined efficiency with openness. Instead of the oversized table, we recommended standard-dimension modular solutions that served the same collaborative purpose while optimising space. Executive cabins and conference rooms were fitted with tailored furniture to reflect the stature of FCMB’s leadership team. We suggested standard dimensions to ensure a more compact and efficient use of space. We proposed a modular workstation with a co-working space system, featuring laminated MFC tops, powder-coated mild steel frames, and ergonomic mesh chairs. Executive cabins were designed with white MFC, powder-coated legs, integrated storage, and fabric seating. All furniture was produced using Italian CNC machines for cutting, edging, and boring, ensuring uniform panels. We supplied ergonomic standard executive chairs and task chairs and followed Just-in-time delivery to avoid on-site storage issues. Outcome The FCMB office now features a co-working style layout that accommodates diverse team needs while maintaining professional polish. Millennia delivered 120 modular workstations, 6 executive cabins, and 2 conference tables, ensuring that the space is practical, ergonomic, and adaptable for the future. The project was delivered on time, and employees provided positive feedback on comfort and productivity, reflecting the effectiveness of the modular designs and ergonomic solutions.

Millennia Upgrades Chevron Offices for African Offshore Services

Project Overview African Offshore Services (AOS), a support partner to Chevron, required upgraded office facilities across Port Harcourt and Warri. The project covered 145 sqm of offshore accommodation and support spaces. The aim was to deliver durable, efficient furniture solutions that could withstand high-traffic use while improving workspace functionality. This project was an offshore barge accommodation, docked most of the year in the deep sea. This unique context added significant complexity to packing, delivery, and installation. Furniture had to be transported cross-country, packed in large boxes, and lifted over 100 meters using a Boom Lift/Truck Crane onto the barge. Once onboard, the furniture was fixed and drilled into the barge structure to ensure stability during high-sea tides. The Brief AOS needed furniture that would enhance workspace efficiency and durability in a challenging offshore environment. Their requirements included office tables, mobile and fixed pedestals, storage solutions, and workstations, with a focus on long-term usability. Our Approach Millennia’s team delivered a tailored package across multiple AOS locations, balancing practical needs with ergonomic comfort. By integrating mobile and fixed storage, alongside modular workstations, the solution supported both day-to-day operations and long-term durability in demanding conditions. For this project, Millennia faced first-time installation challenges on a floating office barge. During the initial jetty visit, the team met with the captain to understand the requirements and assess existing furniture, much of which dated back to the barge’s original construction in Indonesia. We identified issues with the old furniture, explained them to the captain, and collaborated on solutions, including design modifications to workstations and filing cabinets. The success of these changes led to an invitation for a second project with AOS a few months later. In addition, Millennia carefully mapped out delivery methods for transferring goods from the surface to the barge, ensuring every step, from lifting to installation, was executed smoothly and without issues. Outcome The upgraded AOS offices now feature state-of-the-art workstations, storage units, and ergonomic office tables that improve workflow and provide employees with reliable, comfortable environments. The solution not only enhanced efficiency but also reinforced AOS’s commitment to modern, well-equipped workspaces in the oil and gas sector.

Optimising Space for Celebr-8 TOLARAM in Lagos

Project Overview Celebr-8 Lyfe, a Tolaram company, is a distributor of premium international spirits in Nigeria, operating in an exclusive partnership with Diageo. The company markets and distributes world-class brands such as Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray, and Baileys to the Nigerian consumer market. In 2025, Celebr-8 partnered with Millennia to design and furnish its new 398 sqm Lagos office that needed to reflect both efficiency and the sophistication of the brands it represents. The Brief The client required furniture solutions that could optimize space utilization while fostering a seamless workflow across teams. With multiple departments operating under one roof, the workspace needed to balance modularity, functionality, and executive-level comfort, while aligning with the client’s premium brand identity. Our Approach Millennia provided a comprehensive modular solution for this expansive corporate workspace, integrating ergonomic design, aesthetic harmony, and adaptability. During the initial design phase, the project team ordered power sockets but overlooked provisions for cable trunking. To ensure efficient connectivity, our team proposed a smart modification – mounting power sockets on the floor with discreet cutouts at the bottom of cabinets for cable access. Beyond furniture, Millennia extended its expertise to address interior elements such as window blinds, carpet tiles, and product branding, developing innovative and cost-effective solutions that elevated the space while maintaining strict adherence to budget and timelines. Each area of the office, from meeting rooms to executive suites, was tailored to function efficiently while maintaining visual consistency. We designed and implemented ergonomic furniture meeting industry standards for all management levels, and for the executive floor, custom-built pieces were meticulously crafted to individual specifications, ensuring precision, comfort, and prestige. For the client’s Experience Center project, the original concept shared from the Netherlands lacked sufficient detail for complete execution. Our design team reinterpreted the idea by integrating African-inspired elements and materials, creating a unique, localized interpretation that resonated with the brand’s identity. Following our presentation, the proposed design was immediately approved. Despite tight deadlines driven by the client’s inauguration date, our team delivered on time, dividing responsibilities, tracking progress closely, and working extended hours to meet every commitment without compromise. Outcome The result was a scalable modular furniture system designed to enhance efficiency and flexibility across a large corporate environment. Millennia furnished the office with high-quality, functional workstations, management desks, storage units, soft seating, and a fully fitted bar unit, creating a workspace that embodies both productivity and sophistication. Celebr-8’s offices are now equipped with modular furniture that supports operational efficiency and provides a flexible, modern workspace conducive to productivity and employee comfort.

How Millennia Designed a Future-Ready Workspace for KPMG in Lagos

Project Overview KPMG, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, partnered with Millennia to redesign its Lagos office. The project covered 451 sqm across two stories, completed in September 2025. The Brief The goal was to create a modern workspace that supports efficiency, flexibility, and employee well-being. As an auditing firm, KPMG needed modular furniture and ergonomic solutions that could adapt to evolving team structures and sustain long working hours. Our Approach Millennia responded with a solution that combined modularity, ergonomics, and professional design. Workstations were designed to be reconfigured as teams evolved, ergonomic seating supported health and productivity, and managerial offices were furnished with L-shaped tables that balance authority with practicality. KPMG required 140+ modular workstations in a specific wood finish, delivered within a very short turnaround time. Millennia was able to meet this demand because we maintain ready stocks of MFC colour options for large-scale projects, ensuring we can align with brand-specific design directions. During the project, KPMG faced a challenge with their power module specifications. Millennia quickly developed a custom pop-up socket solution, delivered within days, which not only solved the immediate need but was later adopted by KPMG as the standard across their future projects. Outcome KPMG’s Lagos offices are now equipped with a workspace that enhances efficiency, collaboration, and employee wellness. Millennia supplied 100 modular workstations, 120 ergonomic office chairs, and 14 L-shaped manager’s tables across the fifth and sixth floors. These solutions ensure the office remains adaptable, future-ready, and aligned with KPMG’s standards as a global firm.
